Marine Mastic Granules

For many years marine mastic supplied to the offshore pipeline contractors was in the form of blocks which used a lot of energy to produce and to re-melt on site.

Hesselberg Hydro’s laboratory research led to the development of a granular form of marine mastic which saved significant time and energy on site. After full scale trials our patented product was introduced and now dominates the market.

Hesselberg Hydro were highly commended in the Construction News Awards for Material Technology.

Since the introduction of the granules we have developed bespoke grades for high-temperature lines and for use in hot climates.
